Cookies Policy

01

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that a website or online service stores on your device. Similar technologies include local storage, pixels, tags, and embedded third-party tools.

This Cookies Policy explains how Design Innovation Program uses cookies and related technologies on the DIP website and through tools linked from the website.

02

Cookies we currently use

Based on the current website, DIP uses a necessary admin session cookie called dip_admin_session. This cookie is used only for restricted admin areas and helps keep event administration pages protected.

The public website does not currently include advertising cookies, behavioural tracking cookies, or analytics cookies in the codebase reviewed for this policy.

03

Necessary cookies

Necessary cookies support core website functions such as security, routing, session management, form operation, and access control. These cookies are usually required for the website or restricted areas to work properly.

The admin session cookie is set after a successful admin login, is HTTP-only, uses SameSite lax settings, applies across the site path, and is configured to expire after 8 hours.

04

Third-party tools

Our website links to third-party services such as Google Forms, Google Calendar, social media platforms, YouTube, Spotify, LinkedIn, Instagram, and other external tools used for applications, registrations, media, events, and community engagement.

These third-party services may set their own cookies or use similar technologies when you visit their websites, open embedded content, or interact with their platforms. DIP does not control those cookies.

05

Future analytics or marketing tools

If DIP later adds analytics, advertising, conversion tracking, or additional embedded services, those tools may use cookies to understand website performance, measure campaigns, improve content, or support communications.

If the cookie use materially changes, we will update this policy and provide any consent controls required by applicable law.

06

Managing cookies

You can usually block, delete, or limit cookies through your browser settings. The exact controls depend on the browser and device you use.

Blocking necessary cookies may affect website functionality, including restricted admin access, forms, or third-party tools linked from the site.

07

Relationship to privacy

Cookies and similar technologies may involve personal information when they can identify a person or device. Where that happens, our Privacy Policy also applies.

You can read more about how DIP handles personal information in our Privacy Policy.

08

Changes and contact

We may update this Cookies Policy as our website, tools, and services change. The latest version will be posted on this page with the updated date.

Questions about cookies can be sent to team@designinnovationprogram.com.
